While recently having a little wonder around the harbour, to reconnect and spend some time alone in the fresh air, I found myself being filled with inspiration and ideas.
Sitting on the furthest point of the harbour wall, I was able to discover the foundations of the original pier of which my grandad helped to build - so many layers of history and belonging.
When I come to this place, I am always captivated by the sheer size and power of this strong, majestic figure that stands at the end of the quay. She has been and continues to be a significant landmark in this small town and I feel very proud to call it home.
